Sue

Since a young age I've loved looking at, drawing & making models of the shapes and curves of the natural world.

In my early 20's I started making stained glass, and set up a studio in the South of France, which I eventually moved to Dorset.

But I've always had a love of jewellery, and initially wanted to make a pair of heart leaf earrings for myself. This has led me completely away from stained glass, and into a world of exploration and work with Silver and Gold over the last 35 years.

I always loved making things as a child, such as fishing tackle and go carts from old pram wheels. As an adult i have landscaped our garden, built a wooden studio and a micro off grid campsite with an outdoor kitchen.

My background had been in the building trade and designing and making gardens as well as making ceramics as a hobby. When I got togther with Sue we first made Lanterns but jewellery soon took over, followed by designing and making our website.

Our first workshop was in Sue's old bus parked next to the house which we opened for exhibitions and called the Green Bus Gallery.

We started selling in Galleries and the local street market before taking our work around the country to sell at major shows, music festivals and Christmas markets. Eventually giving up shows and going full time online in 2009.
